Loneliness
Loneliness is very acceptable state of consciousness in Sikh Dharma. Sikh Dharma actually start from one word Ek, the one, there is no two. One is always lonely. If you put zero with one, it makes ten. If you put one another one, it makes eleven. If you put two with it, it is twelve. If you put three with it, it is thirteen. The purpose of life is you reach a stage of consciousness when there is no peer group. Period. Then only you can become a giver. Before that you can’t give anybody anything. Then you are in a business, give and take. But when you give and give and give, and for the sake of giving you live, then you have to have no peer group. Then you become Ek, one. One is very lonely. It has its own beginning, it has its own end and it is in own process, that’s why Guru Nanak described that Ek.
